The Lewiston Rotary Club is supporting the "Together We Play" Universally Accessible Playground Project

Lewiston - Members of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary District 7790 extended invitations to Senator Nate Libby and Dottie Perham-Whittier to share updates onLewiston’s Universally Accessible Playground Project, i.e., Together We Play, a universally accessible playground, resulting from the City’s award of the Shane’s Inspiration/Landscape Structure contest resulting in $10,000 in equipment and $50,000 in playground design.  Endorsed by the Lewiston City Council, the playground will be barrier free. The accessible equipment will be fun to use by both able-bodied children, as well as those with mobility, physical, emotional, and development disabilities.   Areas of the playground will include a Riverfront Rock Wall, the Sensory Rock, Animal Sculptures, Sound Garden, Spinner Alley, Embankment Fun and Tree Canopy Swings.
