KIDS THAT CARE COLLECT ITEMS TO HELP LOCAL HOMELESS
Callie Cooke has been working with “Kids That Care” and “Trinity Jubilee” in developing an event that Rotary participated in.  Participants either came as a volunteer on the day of the event or donated items in advance of the event.

The event took place on Saturday, October 13th from 1:30 pm- 4:30 pm at the East Auburn Baptist Church at 560 Park Avenue in Auburn, Maine

The ultimate goal was to fill 200 one gallon Ziploc bags with everyday essentials for the homeless clients of the Trinity Jubilee Center in Lewiston.

Donated items were sorted and bagged by KIDS THAT CARE.  Items included:
  • Razors and shave gel
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Hand warmers
  • Small laundry detergents (Dollar Store Size Tide)
  • Socks
  • Hats, mittens, scarves
  • Winter boots
  • Sleeping bags
As you can see, the generosity was amazing!
